Useful Chrome Extensions

I have compiled a list of chrome extensions which i have found useful. Please find below the list of chrome extensions.

1. Go Incognito
This extension has come in handy a number of times. Basically, this extension allows you to open the current tab in an incognito window and removes it from your browsing history.

2. Print Friendly & PDF
This extension is another very useful and handy utility. This extension removes ads, navigation and junk before you print thereby saving ink and improving print reading experience. It allows you to edit content before printing and also allows you to save as PDF for archiving or sharing purposes as well.

6. Privacy Badger
This extension is created by the EFF to block invisible trackers. Unlike uBlock origin, privacy badger automatically learns to block invisible trackers instead of maintaining a list of what to block.

7. Mailto for Gmail
How many times have you dreaded clicking the mail id provided in the contact form only to wait for the outlook compose window to pop open ? Totally unintentional right ? When all you wanted to do was compose a mail in gmail ? Install this extension to open the mailto links in gmail compose window instead. Super simple, yet effective.

8. Mercury Reader
Good article but a pretty messy and cluttered website ? No problem. Clears up the website to only the bare essentials for the best reading experience.

9. Recent History
I am not sure how many of you find it annoying to search for your history from the chrome menu. This neat little utility does just one thing : it lists your history in a one click pop up.

10. Empty New Tab Page
The internet is already cluttered with a lot of distractions and the worst thing that you could do is show your frequently visited time-wasting websites on a new tab. This extension basically shows an empty new tab. Pure zen.
